Lincoln, Neb.--Prescott Gallery's newest exhibition, "Currents," an exhibition of artwork by students, faculty and staff at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, opens Dec. 4. Artwork in many styles, sizes and prices will be available for buyers to purchase and take home the same day. 

Participating faculty and staff artists include:  Christy Aggens, Byron Anway, Margaret Bohls, Mark Cole, Andrea Maack, Alison Rash, Jesse Ross (Clementine Porcelain) and Amy Smith.

Participating student artists include:  Keith Buswell, Madeline Cass, Patricia Davis, Meryl Engler, Kaitlin Frankforter, Samantha Hardewig, Bryon Hartley, Madeline Hinrichs, Phoebe Jan-McMahon, Nathan Kathol, Wansoo Kim, Patrick Kingshill, Ben McCain, Zora J. Murff, Kyle Nobles, Pecos Pryor, John-David Richardson, Skyler Simpson, Madison Svengard, Emily Tran, Ian Tredway, Emma Vinchur, Emily Wiethorn, Rosana Ybarra and Rana Young.

Currents will be open from Dec. 4-19. Gallery hours are Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be extended hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 12 in association with the College View Shops Holiday Open House.

The Prescott Gallery Shop will feature ceramics, paintings and photographs by Phil Perry.  Proceeds from the sale of Perry’s work will be donated to the WeCare Endowment.

Prescott Gallery is an exhibition space dedicated to showcasing contemporary art.  The gallery serves as a connection point between the Lincoln community and the students and faculty at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Department of Art and Art History.  The gallery is located at 4728 Prescott Ave. in Lincoln.
