Two exhibitions on display at Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in November

Lincoln, Neb.—Two exhibitions will be on display in November at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall.
 
On display in the west and center galleries will be “Nebraska’s Best:  High School Artists from Southeast Nebraska.” The exhibition runs Nov. 6-24. A First Friday reception will be held on Nov. 6 from 6-8 p.m. Three awards of merit will be announced at 7 p.m.
 
Thirty-four students from high schools throughout southeast Nebraska will have their work on display.
 
On display in the east gallery from Nov. 6-24 will be “Porta,” featuring artwork from the UNL Education Abroad course titled “Florence and Venice:  Interdisciplinary Art and Culture,” which was led by Professor of Art Francisco Souto.
 
Participating artists include:  Keith Buswell, Brian Coate, Cortland Kerwin, Phoebe Little, Andrea Maack, Cheri MacCarthy, Chase McClaren, Paul Raymond, Lauren Simonsen, Elizabeth Slonecker, Phalin Strong, Madison Svengard, Ian Tredway and Toan Vuong.
 
Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.

The Eisentrager-Howard Gallery is located on the first floor of Richards Hall. Richards Hall is located at Stadium Drive and T sts. on the UNL city campus.
