Complete your Holiday Shopping with UNL Student Artwork

Two sales will take place in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Department of Art and Art History on Dec. 13-14 to give everyone the opportunity to complete their holiday shopping with quality work from ceramics and photography students.

The UNL Clay Club's Winter Sale and Raffle will take place on Friday, Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Richards Hall Rm. 118.

View and purchase ceramic work created by undergraduate and graduate students and alumni and enter to win donated pieces from students and faculty in the raffle. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The drawing will take place on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. You need not be present to win. All profits help fund the UNL Clay Club visiting artist program, conference attendance and field trips.

There will also be a Clay Sale Preview, hosted by Professor Emeritus of Art Gail Kendall, at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13. To sign up for the preview, e-mail unl.claypreview@gmail.com.

The UNL Fine Art Photo Club Sale and Raffle will take place on Dec. 13-14 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Richards Hall Rm. 121.

Student print prices range from $20-$80. Raffle tickets will be $1 each or six for $5. Raffle items include prints by Professor Dana Fritz and graduate students Amanda Breitbach, Chadric Devin and Allen Morris and signed books by Keith F. Davis, senior curator of photography at Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City.
