The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Faculty Jazz Ensemble kicks off another wonderful year of jazz at UNL’s Glenn Korff School of Music with a featured concert at 7:30 p.m. on November 5 in the Westbrook Music Building Recital Hall. The event will be free and open to the public.

Highlighted in this concert are the compositions of the group's "composer in residence" Tom Larson. Additional pieces by faculty and jazz standards are also planned for the program. This concert will also feature the newest addition to the UNL Jazz Studies area, Dr. Dave Hall, Assistant Professor of Percussion and Jazz Studies.

“We are excited to share our newest faculty artist and our new music with Lincoln!,” said Paul Haar. “I couldn't think of a better way to start the year's jazz series at UNL.”
