Join U. of Nebraska Symphonic Band for ‘A Night at the Symphony’

LINCOLN, Neb.— Join the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music Symphonic Band, conducted by Prof. Tony Falcone with Graduate Assistant conductor Bradley Nelsen, for their program titled, A Night at the Symphony on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. The Band will present Mendelssohn’s Overture for Winds, the Arutunian Trumpet Concerto featuring Professor of Trumpet Dr. Darryl White, and Giannini’s Symphony No. 3.

 

The Symphonic Band, directed by Falcone, has the distinction of being the band program’s top symphonic ensemble. Its select mission is to provide instrumentalists with an opportunity to demonstrate and develop the techniques and musical instincts appropriate to a symphonic setting.

 

Tickets are General Admission $5; Student/Seniors $3.
