Lincoln, Neb.—The annual MEDICI exhibition will be on display Feb. 19-26 at the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall, culminating in their annual fund-raiser on Feb. 26.

MEDICI is a friends group that supports the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Department of Art and Art History. Since its inception 22 years ago, MEDICI has raised more than $200,000 for the department, which has been used to bring visiting scholars to the campus and to purchase kilns, presses, papermaking equipment and other amenities that contribute to first-rate art educational offerings for UNL students.

Participating artists in the exhibition this year include Dan Howard, Susan Puelz, Fred Hagstrom, Ann O'Hara, Margaret Bohls, Mark Cole, Darrell Sano, Mary Zicafoose, T.J. Edwards, Neil Christensen, Bill Ganzel, Paul Brokering, Kristin Pluhacek, Tom Prinz, Therman Statom, Judith Andre, Brad Krieger and Ray Tadduci.

The MEDICI fund-raising event is Thursday, Feb. 26. This is a ticketed event ($50-900). The $50 general admission ticket admits you to the event and entitles you to food and drink. Additional Supporter ($300), Investor ($600) and Patron ($900) levels allows patrons to either purchase the piece of art of their choice for Investor and Patron levels or be given a piece of art through a random drawing for Supporter level. Visit https://medici.unl.edu for more information.

Gallery hours for the exhibition are Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m. The gallery is located on the first floor of Richards Hall, which is located at Stadium Drive and T sts. on the UNL city campus. Admission to the gallery for exhibitions is free and open to the public.
