UNL Percussion Ensemble to perform ‘(De)Constructions’

LINCOLN, Neb.— The UNL Glenn Korff School of Music Percussion Ensemble will present its first of three programs for 2015-2016 entitled “(De)Constructions” on Tuesday, December 1 in Kimball Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m.

The concerts features seminal works from the percussion repertoire including Peux from Pleiades by Iannis Xenakis, Third Construction by John Cage, Hohner by David Maslanka, and The Doomsday Machine by Michael Burritt. The concert also includes newer works composed by UNL percussionists: Indefinite Architectures by DMA student Mike Roe and DisArchitecture by faculty member and percussion ensemble director Dave Hall.

Tickets are General Admission $5; Student/Seniors $3 and will be available at the door.
