LINCOLN, Neb.— Wet Ink!, a concert series spread over two nights, features never-before-heard music composed and performed entirely by students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Both of the performances take place in the Westbrook Recital Hall in the Glenn Korff School of Music at 7:30 p.m. The performances are on Wednesday, November 30 and Thursday, December 1.

The composers come from all sorts of backgrounds and styles, and name influences from jazz to John Williams. The premieres are presented in conjunction with UNL’s own talented performers from every studio, including musicians from jazz and rock. Every performance is different. Every piece is new. Every composer is present. The result: a surprising, colorful concert experience unlike any other.

Both of the performances are free and open to the public. The Thursday night performance will be live webcast. Visit music.unl.edu the night of the performance for the direct link.
