Chamber Music at Nebraska

Previous graduate quartet-in-residence the Skyros Quartet performs at the Sheldon Art Gallery

Coordinated by the Chiara String Quartet, the primary section of chamber music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is open to all serious students who sing, play a stringed instrument, wind instrument, keyboard instrument, or guitar.  Students receive weekly coachings, participate in masterclasses, and perform at the end of the semester.  Advanced students receive training to do outreach as a group in the spring semester.  In addition, individuals may audition for the Play with the Chiaras Audition, and get a chance to perform a complete work with the Chiara Quartet on a recital in the spring.
