Scott Quackenbush

Scott Quackenbush is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music (BM '98) and Northwestern University  (MM '00).  He joined the Omaha Symphony as principal trumpet in January, 2008. Scott is an Artist in Residence at the University of Nebraska where he performs with the University of Nebraska Brass Quintet.  Prior to moving to Omaha, Scott was the principal trumpet of the South Bend Symphony Orchestra and Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra.  In addition, he also played third trumpet with Music of the Baroque, a position that he still maintains.  Scott has performed with the Milwaukee, Detroit, Grant Park and Vancouver Symphonies.  He currently resides in Papillion with his wife, Maria, a music teacher with Bellevue Public Schools, and their baby son, Jacob.
