A theatre, television & film costume designer/craft maker & dyer, Nancy recently relocated to Nebraska after 22 years in Los Angeles.  Awards and distinctions include two Daytime Emmys for outstanding achievement in costume design for General Hospital; Beverly Hills/Hollywood NAACP Image Award in theatre for her original designs of the now iconic play The Colored Museum & 3 Drama-Logue Publishers awards.  Nancy’s theatre design credits include Joseph Papp Public Theatre & The Circle Repertory Theatre, NYC; The Royal Court Theatre, London; The Schubert Theatre, The Kennedy Center, Baltimore Center Stage, Philadelphia Theatre Center, Pasadena Playhouse & Long Beach Civic Light Opera.  Television & film credits include David Lynch’s groundbreaking show Twin Peaks & Dogfight starring River Phoenix. As a costume craft artist & dyer, Nancy’s work includes Martin Isquerdo Studios in NYC, Rosco Research Costume Products, The Folger Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare & NYC Opera at the Lincoln Center.  She is also an endorsed Nebraska Arts Council Teaching Artist and is working on a pilot program this fall to bring integrated arts experiences to the Lancaster County Juvenile Detention Center.
