The School of Art, Art History & Design is pleased to offer Graphic Design

The BFA in Graphic Design is the professional degree for students who want to work in Graphic Design or Visual Communications. Art and Design studio courses make up about two thirds of the degree with the balance being in Art, Art History, Design History and General Education. The BFA in Graphic Design doesn’t require a foreign language.

Application to this program

Fall 2017 applicants, select "Graphic Design" as your major on the undergraduate application. If you are applying for spring 2017 admission, please select "Art" as your major. Students doing a BFA in Art with a graphic design emphasis will have the opportunity to transition to the BFA in Graphic Design when the Fall 2017 Undergraduate Bulletin becomes available.
