Dr. Laura Damuth has a courtesy appointment in the Glenn Korff School of Music, having taught both Introduction to Graduate Studies and the Classical Music Survey courses.  She has also regularly taught a freshman Honors course on Music in Film (MUSC 189H) for the University Honors Program.  

She currently reports to the Sr. Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Undergraduate Education and is the Director of National and International Fellowships.

Her research interests revolve around the Italian cantata in the 17th and 18th centuries, most specifically those of Alessandro Scarlatti.

Dr. Damuth has been a board member for the National Association of Fellowships Advisors (NAFA), and holds a B.A. from Vassar College, and M.A., M. Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from Columbia University.
