Sarah Imes Borden

Sarah Imes Borden has been a lecturer at the university since 2009. She received her training from Nebraska Wesleyan, California State University Fullerton and had a period of study with playwright Frank McGuinness at St. Patrick’s College (now NUI Maynooth). She’s especially interested in theatre created as an active or resistance during genocide. The textbook she wrote with her husband, Dr. Ian Borden, came out in 2010. Sarah’s book Stage Warriors: Women on the Front Lines is Dangerous Drama was published in 2014.
