Joseph Schrotberger

A Nebraska native, Joseph Schrotberger graduated with his Bachelor’s in Saxophone Performance from Nebraska Wesleyan university. During his time in Lincoln, he performed with the Lincoln Municipal Band, the Monday Night Big Band, and several musicals at many local theaters including Spamalot at the Haymarket Theater. Upon graduation, Mr. Schrotberger began his graduate studies in woodwind performance at UNLV. While in Las Vegas, he performed with The Desert Winds and the Henderson Symphony. He worked as a paraprofessional for the Clark County School District and had a studio where he taught and workshopped with middle and high school woodwind students. He was also vice president of the Las Vegas Flute Club before taking a hiatus from music to explore other career opportunities. When the Covid pandemic struck, Mr. Schrotberger spent that time to audition at UNL to finish his Master’s in Woodwind Specialties.
