Sheldon Museum
With the Sheldon Museum of Art, students have access to a world-class art collection of nearly 13,000 pieces right on their campus.
Amidst the comprehensive collection—which includes prominent holdings of 19th-century landscape and still life, American impressionism, early modernism, geometric abstraction, abstract expressionism, pop, minimalism and contemporary art—students can take various art and art history classes right inside the galleries.
Beginning in 2025, the Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist Lecture Series, attracting famed artists from around the world, will take place in Sheldon’s auditorium.
