**You must be pre-approved in order to reserve and operate the laser cutter. Please request a training spot using this form or see Allison Woods in the Digital Lab, WAB 210 to sign up for training.**
Individual, group, and class training is available by request and typically lasts around 1 hour. Once training has been completed, you will be put onto a list of approved users. Training is good for 1 academic year (Fall through Summer), with retraining for the laser cutter being necessary at the start of the Fall semesters.
The Epilog Laser cutter is available Monday through Friday, 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm, unless otherwise denoted on the calendar. Reservations are allotted 1.5 hours to make their cut. You are required to stay in the Laser Cutter room for the entire duration of a running job. Breaking of this rule will result in loss of access to this machine. Please be mindful of other reservation times to prevent running into other time slots. If the job will take longer than 1.5 hours, then two reservations need to be made. The last reservation of the day will be at 3:30PM to allow for adequate cut time.
