University of Nebraska-Lincoln Application
Please apply to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) to receive full scholarship consideration. UNL accepts applications through the Common App or the UNL website.
Application
After applying to UNL, upload your résumé, letter of recommendation, photo, and application to GetAcceptd. All submissions are due no later than April 15, 2025. If you have any questions about your application, please contact Todd at tcuddy1@unl.edu.
Helpful Information
Extensive background in theatre is not required for acceptance. We are planning to attend several thespian festivals and events, including the Texas Thespian Festival, Moonifieds, Unified Auditions in Chicago, Nebraska Thespian Festival, and the 2024 International Thespian Festival. Look for us at these events!
Transfer or Change of Major:
Current UNL students may proceed directly to the GetAcceptd application. Previous coursework will be evaluated after you are accepted into the BA Theatre Major. Please see the advisor for this major (cring2@unl.edu) if you have questions about transfer credit.
Interview
In person interviews are preferred, but remote options (Zoom or via phone) are available.
Admissions Decision
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Final decisions will be made by May 1, 2025. Students will be considered for scholarships after acceptance. All updates will be sent via email.
