Hixson-Lied Grant Sends Art Student to Nepal

In the summer of 2012, UNL Art Major Hannah Potter makes the trip of a lifetime, traveling to Nepal to work with Tiny Hands International with the support of a Hixson-Lied Grant. The Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts was established in 1993 and includes porgrams in art, art history, music, music education, dance, theatre, and film and new media. The college is named in honor of Christina Hixson and the Lied Foundation Trust, which endowed the college in 2000. Our students and faculty perform, exhibit and study nationally and internationally, and we present more than 250 arts event on campus each year.
