Shannon Russell

Shannon is responsible for providing and administering the business operations and fiscal administration coordination between the College, Schools, Center, and the Big Red Business Center. She will be working with me to provide visibility of your state, revolving, and foundation funds. Shannon will ensure that we are developing best practices, policies, and procedures to ensure that we can continue to operate under the fiscal constraints we are facing today. 

Shannon is moving over from the Nebraska Innovation Campus Business Center, Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IANR) where she was a Business Manager. She has 12 years of fiscal and budgetary experience within UNL. She started with UNL in March 2012 as a Financial Associate, then was promoted to a Financial Specialist position in January 2015, and her experience culminated in her taking over the NIC BC in January 2019 as the Business Manager.
