Tim Ganser is a global media, entertainment and management executive with over 25 years’ experience in the theatre, television and film arenas. Tim has served as an Equity Stage Manager, worked as both a theatre and television director/producer and, most recently, managed NET’s Coming Home: Nebraska initiative. Utilizing his unique ability to bridge both the creative and analytical worlds, Tim brings a rare perspective to understanding and analyzing marketplace trends and audience insights. Ganser has also held executive positions at companies such as Audience Entertainment – a New York based start-up using emerging technologies to create interactive programming for the film industry and Capstone Global Marketing and Research Group – a boutique marketing and research firm specializing in movie marketing content. Additionally, Tim served as Nielsen EDI’s Vice President, International where he managed the operations of the company’s nine international offices. Ganser has also held positions at Warner Bros. Television as Manager, Casting and Talent and at Studio Systems where he managed the international Screenline product. In addition to his professional career, Ganser has held academic positions at universities in both the United States and United Kingdom. These include full-time faculty positions at the University of Charleston and at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati as well as serving as a Visiting Lecturer at The American Intercontinental College in London and as a long-term Adjunct Professor at California State University – Northridge. Tim earned a Master of Fine Arts in Communications from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
