Bachelor of Music (Performance)

The BM degree in Music provides the deepest exposure to course work in music. Your time and attention will be fully occupied with applied lessons, ensembles, music academic courses (history, theory, analysis, literature, etc.) and pedagogy.

Bachelor of Arts (Performance Track)

The BA degree tracks provide a robust and deep professional education in music, while also allowing the greatest elective space of any of our music curricula. This degree program also requires a minor or second major.

Bachelor of Music Education

This degree leads to K-12 certification in music (choral, general, instrumental) and prepares you for careers teaching music in public or private elementary and secondary schools. As with all of our undergraduate music majors, you are required to audition and continue study or perform on your applied instrument.

Auditions & Applications

Admission to the Glenn Korff School of Music as a music major or minor requires an audition. The audition is in addition to the formal application process for admission to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. For information on university admissions, contact admissions@unl.edu
