Film Equipment Room

The film equipment room, or "stockroom" is located in the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center (connected to the Van Brunt Visitors Center) and provides storage and check-out of equipment for lighting, sound, and camera work.

The Film & New Media Program at UNL has a full compliment of video and film equipment including:

  • ProTools Digi003 audio recording and editing suite
  • Avid and Final Cut Studio picture editing suites
  • Sync and non-sync film cameras, light meters, lenses, filters and accessories
  • High Definition video cameras, HD monitors, matte boxes, tripod and accessories
  • A variety of professional tungsten lighting fixtures and light kits
  • KinoFlo lighting packages
  • HMI instruments from 575 to 2000 watts
  • 6x6 frame with silk, griffolyn and stands; reflectors and green screens
  • Assorted grip gear, gels, nets and flags
  • Two complete dolly packages, track, skate wheels and 8' Kessler crane
  • Glidecam 2000 with vest and arm
  • Digital audio recorders, mixers, time code slate, microphone packages (wired and wireless) and accessories
  • Honda generator and electrical distribution
