Audrey Crane has spent her career at the intersection of design, technology, and business strategy. Her work in tech spans decades — beginning in QA in the 1980s, moving through design roles at pioneering companies like Netscape, and continuing with leadership and consulting work for organizations including Cisco, Salesforce, Capital One and Gallup.
She is a Partner at DesignMap, a digital product strategy and design consultancy.
She is the author of Design for CEOs: What Business Leaders Need to Know About Design — a practical guide for executives who want to understand and harness the power of design in their organizations.
Audrey speaks regularly on design thinking, divergent creativity, and the relationship between design and business leadership. She has appeared at conferences ranging from enterprise design to health technology forums to the Nebraska Women in Tech Summit. In spring 2026, she joins the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as a guest lecturer, teaching Design Thinking.
