First Friday Play Scapes!

This First Friday, from 4 to 8 pm, get your play on at the Carson Center!  We will be exhibiting playscapes from our Games, Play, and Performance class under the guidance of JCCEMA artist-in-residence and advisory board member, Erica Larsen-Dockray.

Five groups of students have designed play experiences beckoning you to tap into your playful side with a variety of themes that incorporate research in playwork, art, and interactivity.

Please join us for a talk by Ross Media Arts Center Geske Cinema Showcase guest producer and University of Nebraska-Lincoln Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film alumna, Tory Lenosky (B.F.A, 2007). Originally from Omaha, Emmy-nominated producer Lenosky has worked as a producer on 22 movies. She most recently produced the 2022 New York Times Critic’s Pick feature film “Resurrection” (starring Rebecca Hall and Tim Roth), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and will play at The Ross Media Arts Center September 2-15.
