Student Project Support
Taylor Sijan received a Graduate Student Creative Activity grant to fund materials for testing colorant mixtures in and under glaze on porcelain. She used the results on her MFA Thesis Exhibition work to achieve specific color palettes for painting botanical imagery on her pottery.
You Are Supported
UNL students who major in the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts are supported through our endowment to explore their creativity and are eligible to apply for student grants that support travel for presentations, conferences, performances and research; international and domestic study opportunities; and special projects such as films, capstone or thesis art projects, and recording projects.
