Hixson-Lied Student Support Grants

Hixson-Lied Student Support Grants are available to Hixson-Lied students who have EMERGENCY needs. These grants cannot be used for books, tuition or library fines; the grants are available for emergencies like car repairs, bus fares, childcare, housing expenses or medical/dental emergencies.

The Hixson-Lied Student Support Fund provides grants for students making satisfactory progress toward a degree who are faced with financial emergencies that significantly but temporarily disrupt their studies. Any undergraduate or graduate student in the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts is eligible.

If you are facing such an emergency during the semester, please login so you can complete the form below. You will have the opportunity to upload any supporting documents which will help the committee best understand your situation.

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid must also approve any grant awards. Please note, a Student Support Grant may be considered taxable income.
