Janice Stauffer

Janice Stauffer (Associate Professor) has been resident costume designer and a theatre faculty member since 1979. She has designed over forty productions for the Nebraska Repertory Theatre and is a founding member of Flatwater Repertory Theatre. She has also designed costumes at the Utah and Illinois Shakespearean Festivals, and is a member of United Scene Artists Festivals.

Her research interests include 19th Century men’s fashion, tailoring and historic fashion illustrations. Janice enjoys the collaborative nature of theatre design and the integration of literature and visual arts.
