Lincoln, Neb.--The Glenn Korff School of Music’s UNL Jazz Singers, with special guests UNL Quartet, will perform on Tuesday, April 29 at 8 p.m. in Westbrook Recital Hall Rm. 119.

The Jazz Singers are under the direction of Glenn Korff School of Music Lecturer David von Kampen. UNL Quartet is directed by Nathan Bjoin.
The program will begin with UNL Quartet performing Geri Allen’s “Skin;” Carla Bley’s “Ida Lupino,” arranged by Patricia Brennan; and Wayne Shorter’s “Yes and No.” The UNL Quartet includes Bjoin, drums; Evan LeBouef, bass; John Kosch, piano; and Camden Smith, saxophone.
The UNL Jazz Singers’ program includes Lee Morgan’s “Speedball;” “Up a Lazy River,” with words and music by Hoagy Carmichael and Sidney Arodin, arranged by von Kampen; “Like Someone in Love,” with words and music by Jimmy Van Heusen and Johnny Burke, arranged by von Kampen; and “Esperanto” by Vince Mendoza, lyric by Kurt Elling, and arranged by Kerry Marsh.
