FALL 2025 

First- & Second-Year Orientation: Monday, Sep. 15, Park Middle School, Rm. 116 (855 S. 8th St.) We ask that at least one parent or guardian attend the Orientation.

First-year students meet twice a week, Monday & Wednesday, with options of a 4:30 or 5:30 class. Please bring instruments to the Sep. 15 Orientation. We want parents to stay for the entire 50 minutes to observe the initial lesson after our short orientation meeting. Orientation takes place at both the 4:30 and 5:30 times. You should attend at the hour in which your child is registered. 

Second-year students meet twice week, Monday & Wednesday. Classes will be 4:30-5:20 only and begin Monday, Sep. 15. 

All classes will take place at Park Middle School on the following dates: 
Sep. 15 (Orientation and first class/lesson), 17, 22, 24, 29  
Oct. 1, 6, 8, 15, 22, 27, 29 (No classes Oct. 13, 20 during LPS & UNL Fall Break, or on Oct. 31, Halloween) 
Nov. 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 (No classes Nov. 26 or Dec. 1) 
Dec. 3: Concert at Park Middle School (rehearsal at 4:30; concert at 5:30)  

Winter Concert: Wed, Dec. 3, 5:30 PM, Park Middle School; Dress Rehearsal at 4:30 PM   

Concert Attire: Black or dark pants or skirt, dark shoes (no sneakers), white dress shirt (no t-shirts, no tie required) 

SPRING 2026 

All classes take place at Park Middle School (855 S. 8th St.) 

Class days/times remain the same as the fall semester 

Classes are held at Park Middle School on the following dates: 
Jan. 12, 14, 21, 26, 28 (No classes Jan. 19, MLK Day) 
Feb. 2, 4, 9, 11, 18, 23, 25 (No classes Feb. 16, President’s Day) 
March 2, 4, 23, 25, 30 (No classes Mar. 9, 11, or 18) 
April 1, 8, 13 (No classes April 6) 
April 15 – Concert at 5:30 in Kimball Recital Hall (11th & R St) (arrive between 4:45-5 pm) 

Spring Concert: Wed, April 15 – Concert at 5:30 in Kimball Recital Hall (11th & R St)  (arrive between 4:45-5 pm) 
Concert Attire: Black or dark pants or skirt, dark shoes (no sneakers), white dress shirt (no t-shirts, no tie)
