Theatrix
Theatrix is a student-run theatre company that allows students to create explorative, unique theatre that applies skills and concepts learned throughout our program.
Cinema 16
Cinema 16 is the film production club at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. They work to provide students of any major who have an interest in filmmaking with opportunities to do just that—make, talk and learn more about film production. Some of their events include monthly film festivals, social events and guest speakers.
Masquers
Nebraska Masquers stands as a university organization for the welfare and development of theatre. It seeks to raise the standards of educational theatre by recognizing the most worthy individual and group efforts in the art of theatre and functions as an honorary organization in the University Theatre.
USITT
The UNL student chapter of USITT (United States Institute of Theatre Technology). USITT was founded in 1960 as an organization to promote dialogue, research and learning among practitioners of theatre design and technology.
Carson DEI
The Johnny Carson School Diversity and Inclusion Committee celebrates diversity and provides support to all Johnny Carson School students by promoting inclusiveness in all aspects, through all facets. The committee stands to serve as an equal-opportunity provider to all and will strive to make every student feel like they are a part of something special. They host play readings, community events, and facilitate dialogues surrounding DEIB topics and culture.
