Lincoln, Neb.—The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Symphonic Band will perform a concert titled “Remembrances” on Sunday, April 27 at 3:30 p.m. in Westbrook Music Building Rm. 130 with a simulcast in Rm. 119.

The concert is free and open to the public. 

The Symphonic Band is conducted by Senior Lecturer and Associate Director of Bands Tony Falcone with graduate assistant conductor Eric Elker. 

The program includes works by Gary P. Gilroy (the Nebraska premiere of “To the Last ‘TA-DA!’”), Viet Cuong, Tielman Susato, Kevin Day, Scott McAllister, Heather Ellis Koehn, Frank Ticheli and Carl Holmquist.

The Symphonic Band has the distinction of being the band program’s top symphonic ensemble.
