Theatrix continues with 'Hand to God'
Lincoln, Neb.--Theatrix, the student-run theatre company within the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, continues its 2019-2020 season with Hand to God, written by Robert Askins and directed by University of Nebraska student, Christa Retka.
Performances are February 27-29 at 7:30 PM, and March 1 at 2:00 PM. All performances take place in the Lab Theatre in the Temple Building at 12th and R Streets.

Carson Center’s Smith co-curates ‘STREAMING’ exhibition
Lincoln, Neb.--Assistant Professor of Emerging Media Arts Ash E. Smith has co-curated the exhibition “STREAMING” now on display through March 13 at the gallery@calit2 at the University of California San Diego’s Qualcomm Institute.
“STREAMING” is a research platform and exhibition that considers the ecological and social impacts of networked culture streams and the possibilities and limits for their calculation.

Nebraska Rep presents ‘A Thousand Words’

Mattingly named Associate Dean for Student Affairs
Lincoln, Neb.--Jacqueline Mattingly is the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts’ new Associate Dean for Student Affairs.
"I'm looking forward to having Jackie join the college administrative team," said Chuck O'Connor, endowed dean of the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts. "She will be instrumental, at least initially on an interim basis, in first defining this brand-new position and then figuring out how we can better serve students in the long term."

Carson School presents Shakespeare's 'Julius Caesar'

Conversations with Mary Zimmerman Nov. 14
Lincoln, Neb.--The Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film and the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center presents “Conversations with Mary Zimmerman” on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 3:30 p.m. at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center at 13th and R streets.
