Lincoln, Neb.--Katie Wychulis, Glenn Korff School of Music Lecturer in Harp, will perform a faculty recital titled “A Little Night Music” on Thursday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Westbrook Recital Hall Rm. 119.

Wychulis will be joined by Franziska Brecht, flute, and Professor of Viola Clark Potter.
The program includes Arthur Foote’s “At Dusk;” Aaron Jay Kernis’ “On Hearing Nightbirds at Dusk;” Claude Debussy’s “Clair de lune,” arranged by Carlos Salzedo; Salzedo’s “Chanson dans la nuit;” and David Bruce’s “The Eye of the Night.”
Wychulis is principal harp of the Lincoln Symphony, Boulder Philharmonic and Sioux City Symphony.
She graduated cum laude from the Cleveland Institute of Music and received her Master of Music degree from Rice University. In 2001, she received a Fulbright grant to study contemporary harp performance practices in Australia.
She has given masterclasses nationwide and currently also maintains a private studio in Omaha.
