Aaron Nix is an award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter, digital artist, marketing specialist, photographer and professor. He’s a native Nebraskan interested in stories that inhabit place and how we can restore community and land through our shared experience. His work has been seen in numerous programs, film festivals and galleries worldwide. Nix earned his MFA from Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts. He also earned his BFA with an emphasis in film and new media from University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film. He currently serves as the director of visual media for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and continues to work with many freelance clients and their multimedia needs.
