Adam Schulte-Bukowinski

Piano Technician

Adam Schulte-Bukowinski, RPT, is the piano technician for the Glenn Korff School of Music. He is responsible for the tuning, maintenance and repair of all 100+ pianos at the GKSOM, and also tunings for Lied Center performances.

Adam received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Oklahoma, studying piano pedagogy under Dr. Jane Magrath. He studied piano technology at the Chicago School for Piano Technology, completing both the basic curriculum and an advanced curriculum focused on advanced piano preparation and institutional management. He has operated his own business, ASB Piano Service, since 2012, and served as the Senior Piano Technician Fellow for the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Tanglewood Music Festival in the summer of 2013. He is a Registered Piano Technician with the Piano Technicians Guild, and also serves as president of the Nebraska chapter of the PTG.
