The Chiara String Quartet celebrates 10 Years at UNL 

Join the Chiara Quartet, Hixson-Lied Artists-in-Residence at the UNL Glenn Korff School of Music, as they celebrate 10 years of performing in Lincoln throughout the 2015-2016 season.  This year’s Hixson-Lied Concert Series will feature old favorites, new discoveries, and exciting collaborations with fellow members of the GKSOM faculty. Each concert features a themed journey through the heart of string quartet music.  You won’t want to miss a single performance! 

A Chiara Soirée Arthur Foote, A Night Piece and Scherzo for flute and string quartet (with John Bailey, flute); Ernst von Dohnányi, Serenade in C Major for String Trio; Brahms, Piano Quintet in F minor, Op 34 (with Mark Clinton, piano) The Chiara Quartet invites close friends for an intimate evening of chamber music, and you are invited!  Join the Chiara with guests John Bailey (flute) and Mark Clinton (piano) as they play a delicious program of late-romantic treats, including a rare string trio performance of the Dohnányi Serenade with members of the Chiara.
