This recital performance will be a chord-less exploration of standards and original arrangements. The ensemble's aesthetic is inspired by a variety of projects by artists such as Chet Baker/Gerry Mulligan, Ornette Coleman, Tim Hagans, Ryan Kisor, and John McNeil, who have all explored the chord-less format. Joining Jesse McBee (trumpet) will be Patrick Brown and Andrew Janak on saxophones, Max Stehr on bass, and Zach Paris on drums.
