Glenn Korff School of Music cello professor, Dr. Karen Becker, welcomes distinguished guest cellist, Dr. David Littrell, Professor Emeritus at Kansas State University. The annual UNL Cellobration will be filled with exciting learning opportunities for all cellists! (Note: lunch will not be provided. We recommend bringing a sack lunch.)

9:30 Warm-ups & Cello Choir
10:30 Cello Masterclass with Dr. David Littrell
11:30 Clinic #1 with Dr. Becker — “Creating a Beautiful Cello Sound!”
12:30 Lunch (bring your own)
1:30 UNL Symphony Rehearsal
2:30 Clinic #2 with Dr. Littrell - “Sebastian Lee 40 Easy Etudes” **
3:45 Cello Choir Rehearsal
4:30 Final Performance (Cellobration Cello Choir, faculty and UNL student soloists)
5:30 Dinner (on your own)
7:30 Lincoln Symphony Orchestra concert at the Lied Center for Performing Arts — with guest artists Pinchas Zukerman (violin) and Amanda Forsyth (cello) playing the Brahms Double Concerto, and more! Student tickets are only $5! Visit the following link for more information:
