ChamberFest, Honors ChamberFest to take place over three nights

LINCOLN, Neb.— The spring ChamberFest and Honors ChamberFest concerts highlight the incredible work of student chamber music groups at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Glenn Korff School of Music.

ChamberFest is Wednesday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Westbrook Recital Hall. The first Honors ChamberFest is Friday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall and the final Honors ChamberFest is Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall.

Coached by UNL’s esteemed performance faculty, each student group performs with one musician to a part and no conductor, learning to communicate with one another through sound, motion, and intuition. Over three concerts, different groups will play music from twelve composers spanning over 200 years of music. Join us for a spring celebration of chamber music!

All performances are free and open to the public.
