LINCOLN, Neb.— The full Cornhusker Marching Band will be making an appearance at the Nebraska State Fair on Sunday, September 1 in Grand Island.

The Cornhusker Marching Band will perform sets at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30. The full band will perform parades at 1:30 and 3:30, while combined Friday Night Bands will perform at 2:30 at a Pep Rally on the CHI Health Stage.

"The Cornhusker Marching Band is excited to perform at the State Fairgrounds in Grand Island at the 150th Nebraska State Fair,” Cornhusker Marching Band Director Tony Falcone said. “It’s the Band's 140th year, so there are lots of "birthdays" to celebrate! Good weather is expected, so we hope to see lots of people out to enjoy the Fair with us.”

The performance is part of the N150 Year of Celebration for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The Cornhusker Marching Band resides in the Glenn Korff School of Music.
