The first Korff Kast, the podcast of the Glenn Korff School of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is being released today and features graduate student Jordan Redd.

Redd shares his thoughts about what brought him to UNL, how competitions have been different during this pandemic as well as some great personal news!

Originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Jordan Redd attended the University of North Carolina-Pembroke for two years before transferring to Southeast Missouri State University where he studied with Husker Horn Studio Alumnus Dr. Nicholas Kenney. Redd earned the M.M. degree from UNL in May of 2018 and is pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Glenn Korff School of Music under the tutelage of Dr. Alan Mattingly.  As a Husker and Hixson-Lied Fellow, Redd is dedicated to representing Nebraska in Lincoln and across the globe.

Korff Kast is scheduled to be produced and shared monthly. Hosted by Glenn Korff School of Music Promotions and Publications Associate Brian Reetz, the podcast will focus on all of the amazing stories/people/alumni at the Korff School.
