Seven Glenn Korff School of Music faculty/staff honored

Seven Glenn Korff School of Music faculty/staff were honored at the 2016 Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts Honors Day/Awards dinner on Saturday, April 23 at the Champions Club.
They included:
· Dr. Stanley Kleppinger received the College Distinguished Teaching Award;
· Dr. Robert Woody received the College Alumni Board’s Alumni Achievement Award for the Glenn Korff School of Music;
· Dr. Glenn Nierman received the Faculty Award for Outreach, Engagement or Service;
· Dr. Anthony Bushard received the Leadership Award in Curriculum or Programmatic Development;
· Dr. Jacqueline Mattingly received the Achievement Award in Academic Advising;
· Dr. David Hall received the Junior Faculty Achievement Award in Teaching; and
· Mr. Brian Reetz received the Glenn Korff School of Music Staff Award for Outstanding Service.
Dr. John W. Richmond, Professor and Director of the Glenn Korff School of Music, noted that, “The Hixson-Lied College Awards Program is a fabulous opportunity to celebrate the outstanding faculty and staff who work here every day. This year was a remarkable year of affirmation for the Glenn Korff School of Music community, and I could not be more pleased for my distinguished colleagues or proud of them. This truly has been a banner year for us in every way!"
