UNL Symphony Orchestra to perform Rossini, Stravinsky and Dvořák

LINCOLN, Neb.— On Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music Symphony Orchestra will perform under the direction of Dr. Tyler Goodrich White. The program will feature Rossini’s sparkling Semiramide Overture, Stravinsky’s scintillating Scènes de Ballet, and the lyrical and dynamic Symphony No. 8 of Dvořák.

Members of the Symphony Orchestra, directed by Tyler White, include students from throughout the university. The ensemble’s objectives are to prepare and present a wide variety of repertoire including chamber, symphonic, and operatic masterworks, and to maintain professional standards of musicianship and etiquette within a collegial and supportive educational atmosphere.

Tickets are General Admission $5; Student/Seniors $3.
