calendar icon03 Oct 2013

Join the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music’s Wind Ensemble as they draw four distinct kinetic styles from the quiet stillness of the Nebraska premiere of Scott McAllister’s “Gone,” including Arnold’s sturdy “English Dances,” Gorb’s klezmer-infused “Yiddish Dances,” Bernstein’s iconic dance episodes from “On the Town,” and a Cajun mambo by Donald Grantham at 7:30 p.m., October 10 in Kimball Recital Hall.

"From abject desolation to 'a riotous booze-up' -- this concert has it all!" Dr. Carolyn Barber, director of the Wind Ensemble, said.

The Wind Ensemble is the University's premiere concert band.

Tickets are General Admission $5; Students/Seniors $3.
