UNL Grad Jazz Combo takes the stage on April 9

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music Graduate Jazz Combo will perform at 7:30 p.m., April 9 live from Kimball Recital Hall. Due to COVID restrictions, no in-person audience but the performance will be live webcast. Visit music.unl.edu the night of the performance for the link.

 The Graduate Jazz Combo includes: Metro Lyle, Trumpet; Bryan Canonigo, Saxophone; Tetsuya Nishiyama, Guitar; Andrew Mell, Bass and Andrew Wray, Drums.

The combo will perform two sets. The opening set will include Double Helix from Wray and Wasteland by Mell along with King Henry from Dick Oatts. The closing set will include Kyoshi by Lyle along with Always and Forever by Pat Metheny (arranged by Lyle) and My Heart Belongs to Daddy from Cole Porter (arranged by Mell).
