Annual juried undergraduate exhibition opens Feb. 12
Lincoln, Neb.--The Annual University of Nebraska–Lincoln Juried Undergraduate Exhibition, which features outstanding work from 50 undergraduate art students in the School of Art, Art History & Design, runs Feb. 12-16 in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall.
A closing reception will be held on Friday, Feb. 16 from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery. Awards will be announced at 6 p.m.

Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist series features Casebeer, Graves
Lincoln, Neb.--Doug Casebeer, the associate director and artistic director of ceramics at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado, and Kris Graves, a photographer and publisher based in New York and London, will present the next Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist Lectures.

Sapirstein receives prestigious NEH fellowship
Lincoln, Neb.--School of Art, Art History & Design Assistant Professor of Art History Philip Sapirstein is among two University of Nebraska–Lincoln faculty who earned fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities, one of the most prestigious honors in the discipline.
Sapirstein, along with Melissa Homestad, professor of English and program faculty of women's and gender studies, were among the eight percent of applicants to receive NEH fellowships this year.
