UNL’s Symphonic Band to celebrate the music of Leonard Bernstein

Nebraska high school juniors invited to apply for Nebraska Young Artist Awards
Lincoln, Neb.--The Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts is seeking applications for the 22nd annual Nebraska Young Artist Awards.
The Nebraska Young Artist Awards annually recognize 11th grade students from Nebraska who are gifted and talented in the areas of visual art, dance, music, theatre, and emerging media arts. These students exemplify the pinnacles of creativity in one of the fine and performing arts.

Symphony blockbusters coming to Kimball on Sunday, October 7

Alum May returns for guest artist performance

Added date for Campus Orchestra performance in Spring 2019
LINCOLN, Neb.— The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music has added a Campus Orchestra performance to the Spring 2019 schedule. The performance will take place on Thursday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets are $5 general admission and $3 for students/seniors.
