Lincoln, Neb.--The 25th annual MEDICI Exhibition will be on display Nov. 2-15 in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall, culminating in their annual fundraiser on Nov. 15 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The exhibition allows the public to preview all of the works that will be available for sale during the ticketed event at retail prices and those that can be purchased via the event’s silent auction. Art by Nebraska-educated and supporting artists will be sold to purchase new equipment and improve facilities in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s School of Art, Art History & Design.

MEDICI is a friends group that supports the School of Art, Art History & Design. Since its inception 25 years ago, MEDICI has raised more than $260,000 for the School, which has been used to bring visiting scholars to the campus and to purchase kilns, presses, papermaking equipment and other amenities that contribute to first-rate art educational offerings for Nebraska students.

Artwork can only be purchased at the ticketed event on Nov. 15.

The MEDICI ticketed fundraising event is Thursday, Nov. 15 from 6:30-9 p.m. in the gallery. The event includes a silent art auction and sale. All silent auction items will have a starting bid of $100, and all works for sale are priced at their retail value.
