Lincoln, Neb.—“Flux,” an exhibition featuring the work of 2nd year Master of Fine Arts students in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s School of Art, Art History & Design, is on display now through Sept. 15 in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall.

A reception will be held on First Friday, Sept. 1 from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery.

The seven students participating in the exhibition are Scott Cochran, Kat Cox, Lindsey Day, Nicholas Sheldon, Iren Tete, Mallory Trecaso and Erik White, all of whom are in the second year of their graduate program.

In the scope of the MFA program, “Flux” marks one year of rigorous and sustained academic practice and affords candidates and the UNL community a professional and formal space in which to view the work. The show is important in helping the individual student artist in setting a trajectory of study, culminating in the MFA thesis nearly four semesters later.

Admission to the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m. Richards Hall is located at Stadium Drive and T sts. on the university’s city campus.
